Why Restore my headlights?

Overtime, acrylic headlights oxidise when exposed to UV light, causing the surface to become foggy and discoloured.

Oxidized headlight lenses affect the light output. The beam that should come from the headlight is weakened and will not cover as much ground in front of your vehicle, making for hazardous night driving conditions. This is a roadworthy issue.

The good news is a headlight restoration removes the oxidized surface and returns the headlight lenses to a bright, clear condition, producing optimal effectiveness for night driving. After this process we apply a UV ceramic coating to the headlight to prevent this from happening again.

Not only does this improve visibility and safety on the road, but it also enhances the overall look of your vehicle by giving your headlights a like-new finish.

HEADLIGHT RESTORATION

The oxidised surface is removed from the lenses using a wet sanding technique. The fresh lenses are polished to a high sheen, returning them to a bright, clear, new roadworthy condition, improving the look, value and drivability of your car.
